The Mariner's costs $15.00 more. For that it adds a Maine lobster tail and snow crab legs, but has a dozen shrimp instead of two dozen and no sausage. For scale, adding a Maine lobster tail to any meal costs $17.99 on its own, and half a pound of snow crab legs $13.49. Red Lobster doesn't say how much crab is in the Mariner's.
Calories run the other way: Red Lobster lists the Sailor's at 2,600 to 3,040 calories and the Mariner's at 1,880 to 2,360 calories. Each is a range, and each flavor carries its own calories (table below).
The family meals serve 4 to 5 and are To Go or delivery only. Split 4 or 5 ways, the Sailor's family boil works out to $14.00 to $17.50 a person and the Mariner's to $20.00 to $25.00, before tax and tip.
You pick one flavor for the bag. Red Lobster lists these calories against each flavor choice, for a single boil and for a family meal, and against a 4 oz. cup of the same sauce for dunking ($2.99 each).
