and why.
This is an independent reference for Red Lobster's menu. It exists because the questions people actually ask (what does the lunch menu cost, how many calories is that platter, what can kids order) are tedious to answer by clicking through a restaurant site one dish at a time.
We're not connected to Red Lobster in any way. That's worth stating early because it cuts both ways: we have no inside information, and we also have no reason to make the menu sound better than it is.
What this is
A menu-and-price reference for Red Lobster, compiled from the chain's public menu pages. 136 items across 17 categories, each with the price and calorie count as published.
What it isn't
Not Red Lobster. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Red Lobster or Darden Restaurants, Inc. No ordering, no reservations, no gift-card sales, and no single restaurant's address or hours, because there isn't one.
How we source prices
- 1We take the data from Red Lobster's own menu pages. Item name, description, price and calorie count, recorded as the chain published them. Not from aggregators, not from memory, not from other guides.
- 2We keep the gaps visible. Where the source didn't publish a description, price or calorie figure, we mark it rather than filling it in. 32 items currently carry that flag, and three are missing enough detail that we show them as unconfirmed.
- 3We don't publish what we can't source. The $20 special, 3 course meal, dinner specials, and Canadian menu aren't in this data yet. Those pages say so plainly instead of carrying invented content.
Source note from the dataset: Prices, items, and availability vary by location and change over time. Verify against redlobster.com before publishing anything time-sensitive. Convert script: scripts/convert-menu-csv.py.
The limits, stated plainly
Red Lobster sets prices restaurant by restaurant. A national guide can tell you what the published menu says; it cannot tell you what your local restaurant will charge tonight. Treat every figure here as a reference point, not a quote.
We also don't publish allergen data, because our source doesn't contain any. Guessing at it from dish descriptions would be unsafe, so the allergen page points you at Red Lobster's own information instead.

Where do your prices come from?
They're compiled from Red Lobster's own public menu pages: item names, descriptions, prices and calorie counts, recorded as published. We don't estimate prices, and where a figure wasn't published we say so instead of filling the gap.
How often is the data updated?
We don't publish a fixed refresh schedule, because promising a cadence we can't guarantee would be its own kind of inaccuracy. What we can tell you is that this data was compiled from Red Lobster's published menu, and that prices move locally in between any refresh we do.
