What we publish,
and what we won't.

An independent price guide is only worth reading if it's clear about where its numbers come from and where they stop. This page is that statement.

Where our facts come from

Menu items, descriptions, prices and calorie counts are compiled from Red Lobster's own public menu pages. That's the single source for the menu data on this site. We don't take prices from other guides, from aggregator sites, or from memory.

Where the source didn't publish something, we don't supply it ourselves. 32 items currently carry a review flag because their published listing was missing a description or a price, and 2 are incomplete enough that we show them as unconfirmed rather than presenting partial data as whole.

What we refuse to publish

We don't invent menu items, prices, calorie counts or deal terms. If we can't point at a source for a fact, the page says so instead of carrying a plausible-sounding guess. That's why the $20 special, 3 course meal, dinner specials, and Canadian menu pages are currently empty of specifics.

We also don't publish allergen or dietary clearances. Our data contains no allergen fields, and inferring them from marketing copy would put readers at real risk. Those pages point at Red Lobster's own information instead.

And we don't publish a single address, phone number or set of opening hours. Red Lobster is a national chain of independently varying restaurants; there is no one location this site is about.

Photography

Every image slot on this site is an illustrative placeholder block. Red Lobster owns its food photography and this guide has no licence to republish it, so we don't. Not on the menu pages, not in the gallery, not anywhere. If rights-cleared photography is supplied later, it will replace the placeholders without changing any layout.

Independence

This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Red Lobster or Darden Restaurants, Inc. Nobody at the company reviews, approves or pays for what appears here. We take no orders, book no tables and sell no gift cards. Every transactional link hands off to Red Lobster's official channels.

When we get it wrong

Prices move and menus change, so some of this will go out of date between updates. When a reader flags an error we check it against Red Lobster's published menu before changing anything. The corrections page explains that process and how to submit one.
