Red Lobster happy hour,
by the hour and by the state.

Where Red Lobster runs it, happy hour is weekdays from 3pm to 6pm and again from 9pm to close. It comes in two versions, depending on the state or city.

In most places you get $6 bar specials and $2 off select appetizers. Four states and eight Georgia cities get the appetizer deal only. Below: both versions, the menu with prices, and how the hours grew from one window to two.

    The full version, at most participating restaurants: drink specials plus the starter discount, in the afternoon and again late at night.

    • $6 select cocktails: Classic Margarita, Long Island Iced Tea, Classic Coconut Mojito and Watermelon Mint Martini

    • $6 Fire & Tide Margarita, a happy hour exclusive

    Happy Hour offers available Monday through Friday only, 3–6 PM and 9 PM–close, at participating locations. Beverage offers are not valid in the following locations: GA (Buford, Canton, Columbus, Duluth, Gainesville, Kennesaw, Newnan, and Rome), NC, OK, SC (except Monday through Friday, 4–6 PM, where permitted), and UT.     Red Lobster's terms rule out the drink offers in eight Georgia cities (Buford, Canton, Columbus, Duluth, Gainesville, Kennesaw, Newnan and Rome) and in four states: North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Utah. Happy hour there is the starter discount only.

    • Monday through Friday, 3pm to 6pm and 9pm to close, at participating restaurants
    • $2 off select starters: Lobster Flatbread, Seafood-Stuffed Mushrooms, Crab Queso, Lobster Dip and Mozzarella Cheesesticks
    • No drink discount, except 4pm to 6pm in South Carolina where permitted

Not every Red Lobster takes part, and hours can differ. Check with the one near you before you go, especially near a state or city border where the two versions meet.

When it started, and the late-night window

The chain announced the weekday deal on December 2, 2024, for 3 to 6 p.m., Nation's Restaurant News reported (NRN). The bar specials were $5 then: a classic margarita, Top-Shelf Long Island Iced Tea, Tito's Twisted Strawberry Lemonade, 14 oz. Blue Moon and Bud Light drafts, and 6 oz. pours of Mark West Pinot Noir and Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio. The same five appetizers were $2 off.

Chief marketing officer Nichole Robillard said in a statement that guests could "enjoy great deals on our signature appetizers and refreshing drinks every weekday." The launch came as part of a rebuilding effort under CEO Damola Adamolekun, the same report said.

A second window followed. From October 12, 2026, a Late Night Happy Hour runs on weekdays from 9 p.m. until closing, alongside the 3 to 6 p.m. hours, with $6 cocktails, wine and beer, according to an October 9, 2026 report (Sporked).

The Fire & Tide Margarita is the one exclusive on the list. Sporked described it as Cuervo Tradicional Blanco Tequila with Fireball Whisky, at $6, or $3 more for the Mega size.

What time is Red Lobster's happy hour?

Weekdays from 3pm to 6pm, and again from 9pm to close, where the chain runs it. In South Carolina the bar specials apply from 4pm to 6pm only, where permitted.

Is there a happy hour on weekends?

No. The terms limit it to weekdays, so Saturday and Sunday have none.

Which states get the food-only version?

North Carolina, Oklahoma, Utah and South Carolina (outside 4pm to 6pm), plus the eight Georgia cities named in the card above. Everywhere else that takes part gets both.

Can I get happy hour pricing on a To Go order?

No. Both versions are dine-in only, To Go and delivery are excluded, and the deal can't be combined with any coupon.
